• This position is located in Hudson, OH

• Hours of operation are 8:15am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

• Ongoing training and development

Responsibilities for the Pharmacy Technician:

• Compound non-sterile medications products; such as ointments and powders

• Extensive patient enrollment, prior authorization, and profile building to include in and outbound calls

• Data entry of new and refill prescriptions

• Filling of new and refill prescriptions

• Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory

• Resolve third party issues with payers and providers

• Coordinate vast interdepartmental patient care and service

• Participate and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance improvement meetings

• Assist Compliance Department to ensure pharmacy operations and personnel are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Key Requirements:

• State Certified Pharmacy Technician.

• 2 years pharmacy experience

• Prior Authorization/Insurance verification experience preferred

• Ability to work in a rapidly growing and fast paced environment

• Must possess and demonstrate excellent telecommunication skills and superb customer service

• Proficient word processing abilities as well as computer/system navigation

• Prior PioneerRx experience will be extremely beneficial

• High School diploma or equivalent
