GEMCO Medical, a well-established and growing healthcare distribution company shipping over 15,000 packages a day with detailed accuracy, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Jr. Warehouse Associates whose function include order fulfillment.

  • The warehouse is fully air conditioned in summer, heated in the winter.

  • Clean environment: not dusty, dark, or dirty.

  • A variety of part-times available.

  • Position is located in Hudson, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements

  • Package and ship orders in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods and practices

  • Unload, sort, count, package, and label inventory that is received

  • Utilize WMS RF scanner for various distribution center activities

Job requirements

Core Competencies

  • Ability to stand, walk, for entire shift

  • Lift minimum of 25 pounds (occasionally)

Education/Experience

  • Attention to detail

  • General math, computer and reading comprehension skills.

  • Willingness to accept responsibility and work in a multi-task environment as part of a team.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
